    Default what is irradium?

    Do you mean iridium?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iridium...al_and_medical
"Iridium in bulk metallic form is not biologically important or hazardous to health due to its lack of reactivity with tissues; there are only about 20 parts per trillion of iridium in human tissue.[10] However, finely divided iridium powder can be hazardous to handle, as it is an irritant and may ignite in air."

That 98% pure gold... better than 22kt (91.7%)

I don't think Iridium is dangerous...I've handled it in high end spark plugs before; very difficult to machine. The spot price of iridium shot up last winter/spring. It doesn't have many uses besides spark plugs though...

Spot price of Iridium is over $1000 per troy ounce. Hardly a big incentive there.

    It reminds me this:

The King of the village told to the people that they are welcome on the party at his backyard. The "fee" is to bring the finest vine they have and they will pour it to the huge barrel. One of them told to himself "damn! im genius, I will bring clean water, no one will notice one glass of water in a barell ful of wine." So the party has started, they all brought their glasses with wine. When they all poured it to the giant barrel, the King to them, "All right people, now we are going to drink that, get one glass of wine from that barrel" So they did... And now.. every one was shocked, like what is this? its pure water and not wine!!!

    point?

everyone thought they are geniuses and will fool the other one..

I can imagine, that after 20 trades, there will be 50% "pure" gold in that jewelerry..

    Quite sad...
