    Default July 1st and July 4th Holidays.

    On Friday July 1st, 2011. Please be advised that Canadian markets will be closed in observance of the Canada Day Holiday. U.S. markets will be open.
    On Monday July 4th, 2011. Please be advised that U.S. markets will be closed in observance of the Independence Day Holiday. Canadian markets will be open.

    Sounds like this long weekend will be one large party on both sides of the border!!

    The traditional 4th of July celebration, fireworks, is against the law in most places.

    the latest is to regulate/ban city sponsored fireworks shows
    you know, the sky kind
