Forum database error problem being worked on. Thanks for your patience

Today our forum software experienced a problem that gave out a 'database error' message when any group was clicked on. This has been corrected by our IT department. Thanks to members who send me messages to alert me to the problem. Our IT monitors did get a message about there being a problem and it was looked at ASAP.

Everything should be working well now. Our thanks to everyone for their patience while we fixed the problem.

yes was a twelve hour outage aprox cheers for fixing i was getting lonely ..

as with feral i have also encountered this a few times over the last month .. but usually only for a short period

ps. i had lots of trouble with google over the same period ..????any way related

I was nearing a full-blown panic ... and I was only getting the error message for all of 20 minutes before it was fixed

I'm still getting the error, last night and this morning, whenever i try to submit a reply to a thread. however, i notice the post will show up, not in the actual thread, but when i click "post reply" button and it shows the thread history, all the posts are there....

There are again problems with the forum and it has been reported to the IT department. Hopefully they will be able to solve the problems. Until things are fixed it would be wise not to post any messages.

Thanks for your patience. I will post a message once IT confirms that they have made the needed repairs.

The forum appears to be working properly again. If members are experiencing problems please post a message in this thread so I can get our IT department to look into the situation.
