Fear not. Rhodium can be radioactive - nuclear plants produce a butt ton of it as a fission product.
Check out the half life of Rhodium.
    Rh 105 = 35.36 hours
    Rh 103 = stable
    Rh 102 = 207 days
    Rh 102metastable = 2.9 years
    Rh 101 = 3.3 years
    Rh 101metastable = 4.34 days
    Rh 99 = 16.1 days

The longest lived radioactive Rhodium half life is 3.3 years, in 5 half lives or 16.5 years - the vast majority of initial sample is effectively done decaying.

Spent Nuclear Fuel is rich in Rhodium and we store a minimum of 25 years in Spent Fuel Pools - in other words, any Rhodium removed from Spent Fuel is DONE being radioactive.

    Fear not. It's all good.
1.6 billion people have no access to electricity, whatsoever.
2.4 billion people still burn wood and manure as their main source of energy.
3.0 billion more people will be born in the next 30 years.

Climate change isn't the killer - energy poverty is the killer.
More, all the above, and everywhere answers all energy issues.

Why does kitco sell rhodium as a sponge and not in bars?

Too much of a pain to mint anything out of rhodium. Only certain people possess the craft and it is most useful as sponge. Its actually the only way industry can use rhodium.

Get some,,, Is money in the bank and when she touches even 7-8k an ounce in a couple years you will wish you had got some now.

As I've said before, I had hoped that investing in & ingesting rhodium would endow me w/ the powers of teleportation and matter / anti-matter rearrangement like Dr. Manhattan.

1- and 2-ounce bars of rhodium are available from a couple of Kitco competitors, one of them reputable.
