    Default Credit downgrade

I would have thought the downgrade by Fitch would have raised PM but instead it dropped...strange times.

Yeah, not much can be believed. Trump lost the election. Epstein killed himself. Best economy ever.... The hits just keep coming.

de facto the downgrading wasn't big news, and in reality the AA+ is still far too high, so nothing to see there.

Just wondering when the big bond rnewals are starting what the reactions of the markets will be because there pension funds etc have to make big decisions and they should if they are not politically biased press for higher rates to compensate for inflation and buying power loss of the dollar, If pension funds go south some might get VERY angry. and that would mean more than a late Fitch rating.

You left out that inflation is transitory, his son, Hunter Biden, is the smartest person that Joe ever met, or that masks prevent Covid. Then there's the classic, I'll gladly pay you on Tuesday for a hamburg today and my dog ate my homework.
