Default Haven't we all heard this many times before?

A major silver supply crunch is coming? Oh really. I have been following silver for twenty two years now and am still waiting for the explosion that Ted Butler and David Morgan have repeatedly promised.

Someone out there must know the real state of things. Maybe not though. If they sell Silver you certainly cannot trust what they are saying.

Trust the government, they know what they're doing....
Now there's no more oak oppression
    They passed a noble law
Now the trees are all kept equal
    By hatchet, axe and saw.

    I will not comply.

I looked up LBMA stocks recently. They are generally a little over a billion ozt, but it fluctuates a bit. Recently the stocks dropped down to around 0.8 billion ozt. It has been stable there for several months.

We have been seeing high premiums for quite a while now.

Short supply & high prices go hand in hand. They balance each other out. That is the most basic market dynamic.

If LBMA is the benchmark, then stocks are low, but not scary low. It's not a cornered market. It's a market that has a reduced supply cushion. The market is ripe for a whale to make a power play & cause a crunch, but the crunch is not here at this time.

This is no longer posted in the Fed Minutes of January 2008, but still quoted here - https://www.nbcnews.com/id/wbna22592939. The FOMC minutes still quote MR. Reifschneider. as stating the same thing.
