My point is that they should be MINTING more than a one night stand. You don't see that at the WOKE Canadian mint.

Lower mintage creates shortage = higher premiums= more money for less work. It seems they have discovered that people will actually pay ridiculous premiums. As long as folks pay those premiums it's likely to continue....(charge what the traffic will bear)

Doesn't seem the value of the silver in these things has any bearing on cost. Maybe they should just mint them out of copper nickel and raise the price even more? Beginning to feel like those Franklin Mint item of the month collector stuff, IMHO.

Haha..not this cowboy. I refuse to pay $7.00 premium per oz. I'm looking for 100 - 1 oz. bars, rounds, or coins so that is rather excessive. Even the 10 ozers have high premiums.

Wow, we touched 25 this month, days of 16 long behind us, and slowly moving up since last September. Gold is even flirting with 2000 again. No sense hoping for 50 again anytime soon.

I'll maybe sell some when we hit 27 again, I need to start gathering dollars for next years property taxes at some point.

The premiums must be killing you if you have to buy and sell to pay debt. But if that's the best way to be forced to save then I hope you make a few bucks on the trade.

    Default Why bullion?

What 's the point in buying a bullion coin with a high premium, if you can easily find US circulation silver coins (0.900 Ag) hardly over spot unless you want them uncirculated/mint state?
WTSHTF, pre '65 dimes and quarters could be used for bartering more easily than 1Oz bullion coins.

Im not a fan of high prem coins. But all bullion has its purpose. You use junk silver for small buys and larger bullion for bigger buys..its not complicated.
