I thought it might be nice to have a list of good reads for us to select from. I'll start with a large source of information on Milton Friedman -

The Federal Reserve is not currently forecasting a recession.
Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke, Fed Minutes of January 2008

Thank you for that. I'll imbibe.

Some of my recent readings (more like studies) that I recommend are:

The Song of the cell. https://www.simonandschuster.com/boo.../9781982117351

Human Diversity: The biology of gender, race and class. https://www.amazon.com/Human-Diversi...t%2C110&sr=1-1

Facing Reality: two truths about race in America. https://www.goodreads.com/en/book/show/56280021
Who are the righteous? ....Markpti "Man Makes Himself".....V. Gordon Childe "Lead, follow or get out of the way"......Lee Iaccoca

Those who cannot articulate the other argument do not fully understand their own.

"Much can be done by wise legislation and by resolute enforcement of the law. But still much more must be done
by steady training of the individual - in conscience and character...." .......T. Roosevelt

My step mom sent me Starry Messenger by Neil Degrasse Tyson. My SM is a bit left and I think she sent it to me to show me how I should be thinkin'. I read it to humor her and be exposed to a thoughtful argument that challenged my view. I have been making notes throughout to discuss with her.... She is not so discussy, she gets angry if I don't agree with her political view.

She will throw the "c'mon man!" card and I will tell he I am not familiar with the "c'mon man" argument details.

Anyway, it is a book written in a somewhat un-self aware point of view by someone who considers himself very far above us non scientists.
Now there's no more oak oppression
    They passed a noble law
Now the trees are all kept equal
    By hatchet, axe and saw.

    I will not comply.

The Tea Party... quietly plotting to take over the world,
and leave you the hell alone!
