Thread: 2023 Queen 5 pound?

    Default 2023 Queen 5 pound?

4,995 2023 5 pound coins were made with the Queen on them and were sold by the mint. Supposedly any other 2023 coins meant for circulation with the queen with be destroyed until the new designs can be approved. Any guess if these will have more value than other years?

That sounds like a perfect storm for collector interest.

This is no longer posted in the Fed Minutes of January 2008, but still quoted here - https://www.nbcnews.com/id/wbna22592939. The FOMC minutes still quote MR. Reifschneider. as stating the same thing.

Maybe in looking at the wrong one... I went to JM Bullion and put 1,000 of them in my cart. They were willing to process had I had the money. That's just one site.

They are not on JM bullion. It is not silver/gold. The only product I see that you may have seen was the 1990 5 pound gold coin. These had a limited mintage of 4995.
