I am continuing to buy generic 1 oz coins from APMEX through Walmart for fairly reasonable premiums, especially when you factor in the 5% cash back from their Capital One credit card. The Gold State Mint GSM Morgans and Buffalos are currently $444 a tube (20 rounds) or 22.20 per oz with silver at $18.39 spot. When you factor in the 5% cash back it comes out to $21.09 per oz or $2.70 over current spot.

Gotta buy bigger bars, 10 oz. min. Or generic, or wait for the recession to crash silver price. Save your dollars, try to buy 100 oz. lots or bigger lots for a bit of a price/shipping break.

ASE premium is now 100% from major retail dealers, just insane.
for 1986, 1994 and 1996 ASE, premium is 300-460%. I hardly see these dates as rare or semi rare bullion.

I haven't found that kind of pricing in my area.
“The Federal Reserve is not currently forecasting a recession.”
Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke, January 2008
This is no longer posted in the Fed Minutes of January 2008, but still quoted here - https://www.nbcnews.com/id/wbna22592939. The FOMC minutes still quote MR. Reifschneider. as stating the same thing.
