Nice piece. I picked up a couple of specimens from that site (no gold). Just because I liked how they looked. Have to be careful not to pick up another hobby…
Fwiw, I’ve logged on with minutes to go no problem. Last piece I got I put my bid in the day of the auction with my max bid. But I get the idea of waiting too. Once I saw an auction extend by over an hour with bidders using the five minute rule.

This one looks like a dragon to me...pretty saturated coloration.

i use to bid on ebay some 20 years ago, lots of good specimen for sale. Regret on some pieces that i didn't bid more aggressively. Now, it's mostly craps offered, overpriced or the good pieces don't make it to ebay anymore.

True dat...^^ and the Arkenstone where this specimen is offered has become so well known in the Mineral World, that we are at Nosebleed prices most of the time...

Beautiful specimen and a nice size. Would be nice to see the final price.

I have a few nuggets I bought though ebay in past years, but nothing as interesting as this piece. Even so, I regret not buying more nuggets.

If you have an account, you save it to your watch/favorites with the little star icon...and after the auction you can know the end price
