This from a Renouned collector I am certain it's provinance could be obtained / documented and it is not Ch ina!

I am interested and watch the auction to see it's final sale price as specimens are usually priced above the rate of Bullion. FWIW
To own that piece would require a tight security measure and if you were to display it, even more so....to keep it locked up in a dark vault
seems almost shameful.
I guess perhaps one could commission a replica be made in Ch ina and put the reproduction on display without too much trepidation

whatever the case against not getting that specimen, it sold for $9750. A pretty penny that one. Mainly a collectors market.
Getting ROI, questionable at best and for certain not for most.

The example in the OP is really nice, but to me this one is a beautiful work of nature's art. If somebody walked into my we buy gold store I'd have paid the 10k price this one eventually sold for. It "looks" like it contains roughly 3 oz. of near pure gold, so roughly 5k there. At double the intrinsic value it's grossly underpriced. Even at 20x the intrinsic price, it's underpriced. Thanks for sharing this site.

In my experience, it will only bid to keep you on top...when your max is reached it goes on without you...and NO not plop down all at once, incremental happens there.
I am a log time buyer there...not so much since the word has gotten out. Somethings seem way more now than I consider reasonable IMO.
I am happy....but anxiety does kick in now and again...lol
