Payment by echeck (ACH) now available in Kitco online store

We know you’ve wanted an online payment method for a long time. Sending checks can take more than a week. And wire transfers cost money.

As of today, you can pay for Kitco orders using eCheck (ACH), provided by Plaid. eCheck is 100% secure and takes less than a minute to set up.

Select eCheck (ACH) as your payment method when checking out, then press the Continue button.

Next you will see a description of eCheck a well as the banking information that is needed after you give your consent.

Next click on the box asking for your authorization and then click on "Login to your online checking account" (through Plaid).

Plaid will prompt you to select your bank and enter your banking credentials. This process takes about a minute. Once this is done, you don't need to log into your bank account again for future orders. After setting this up, you'll move to the next step of the Kitco order process as usual.

I am not a huge fan of Plaid, Where Your information is put into the "cloud" infrastructure.
My question is, if you opt out of Plaid, is your information removed from the cloud?
I used plaid one time on a real estate transaction and could not get an answer to that
question. I closed my plaid, but did my information get taken down? I doubt , friends for life.

That said, I would like to be able to do an EFT straight to a Kitco account....sans Plaid.

Hi vertical1, I don't know the answer and since it actually is in Plaid's hands probably Kitco staff doesn't either - but you could call them easily enough.

The best source for the answer might be Plaid.
