A tale of two perspectives, which way will crypto go?

Will it be the key to subjugation of the human race?

    http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/t...bank-accounts/

Will the central banks turn their noses up at it, causing it to go the way of the white buffalo?

“The Federal Reserve is not currently forecasting a recession.”
Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke, January 2008
This is no longer posted in the Fed Minutes of January 2008, but still quoted here - https://www.nbcnews.com/id/wbna22592939. The FOMC minutes still quote MR. Reifschneider. as stating the same thing.

Neither one of the articles moved me one way or another.

The first one's author laid fear on pretty thick but the only seeming call to action was the at the end he spun his book he's selling. The idea that globalist within the UN have a thought to squeeze even tighter control on people and use of technology seems certain. If anyone has ideas how we the people can change that course of events I'd love to hear it.

There is a move out to start a secondary economy and that has a chance to help keep individual freedom apart from governmental industrial control machine. I think it is likely something unstoppable. But, like the chase scene in "A Fish Called Wanda", a governmental control steamroller with c-c-c-crypto is c-c-c-coming k-k-kill me....

History has many examples of governments propensity to kill those who will not cede to their will, and a digital ID will be the ultimate cataloger of the efficiency of the governmental machine to convert or eliminate those not inclined to cede to their will. In the end, even a conclave of Amish will have to pay taxes to keep their commune, and that will be the excuse to eradicate even them.
Now there's no more oak oppression
    They passed a noble law
Now the trees are all kept equal
    By hatchet, axe and saw.

    I will not comply.

I'm not sure I'm understanding correctly. There a move (movement?) to start a secondary economy that may thwart or stop the iron grip control we apparently are facing? Or, yes there is a move but it is futile and the steamroller will trample us all anyway?

Yes. There is a decentralized internet that cannot be stopped. I am working on learning it, but it is still in a beta configuration. Many of the internet things we use all the time are being worked on open source soft ware. If you are interested I will post links for you to look at.

The thing is, open source, decentralized internet works really well until you are eliminated in a shower of Cyclon B. So yes, there is a movement that is creating a secondary economy... and yes, there is a move but it is futile and the steamroller will trample us all anyway. The good news is you only have to die once.

Cyclon B is same as Zyklon B?

    Thanks Todd.

Yes post links, maybe someone will be helped - possibly even me!

By a decentralized internet do you mean one in which users will not need an ISP?

ISPs are currently the gates that are in place which can close the current internet. As far as I know, other than ISPs the internet is decentralized imo.

From what I understand, info packets from one IP go to another IP routed via any of hundreds or thousands of DNSs, if one DNS is down the packet goes to another until it finally reaches it's destination. Without ISPs no one would have the ability to block access to or from one IP address to another. DNSs have other functions as well (to change easy to remember URLs into the encoding that a packet is made up of including it's source and destination IP addresses. I think this is pretty close but I may have some things incorrect.. it's been about 20 years since I took a course looking to get into the field working for an ISP.

ISP... Well, yes and no. You need to have a connection to the internet, buy as long as you are connected, you act as your own DNS server (or whatever is used to resolve the address as I understand it)

https://unstoppabledomains.com/domains You can register your own domain that you own and do not have to pay a yearly fee to have someone say it is yours.

    Nostr… https://nostr.com/clients/nostros .... Basically a twitter with no rules

aldi key manager… https://getalby.com/user ... This is a key bank that is used identify you and and verify content posted and interactions are you. This solves the need for third party verification.

I am still working on figuring it out. The problem is similar to the problem I had using encrypted email. You can secure you email conversations but no one cares enough about security to go through the trouble to set it up and use it. When used, you can send through google and bing and other "free" mail hosts and they cannot scan your message content.

These apps and programs allow you to control and keep and protect and serve your own content. A small, relatively inexpensive server can allow you to be your own online secure storage and content server.

If you are referring to the current internet then, yes, DNSs are required to resolve a domain name to an IP destination. Your phone or tablet or PC does not resolve "wheredoesthisgetme.com" (for instance) to an IP.

I looked at the unstoppable domains and it is crypto centric. Not sure how it would help stop this http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/t...bank-accounts/

The web3 thing I'm not even sure is beyond the theory stage? That was the case a year ago, maybe it has progressed now. https://www.google.com/search?client...entralized+web

Sorry if it seems like I am raining on the parade. I just take a conservative skeptical view of stuff - especially if it purports to circumvent the control our masters currently have. That is a very tall order at this point in time and I think it will require a total collapse and rebuild similar to what red seems to see in our future. My opinion only of course.

I appreciate your bringing info please don't take my responses the wrong way.

Yeah, cyclon/zyklon... I pulled it off the top of my head. Current internet infrastructure requires few centralized controlled structure to rout traffic. Decentralized internet infrastructure relies on many individual routers that talk with each other to rout traffic over a route agreed upon by routing infrastructure and their map of other individual routers and then reconstruct the packages sent into a cohesive message at the destination. it is basically the difference between a phone line (one direct line route... or these day a few routes determined by centrally controlled routing equipment) and broad broadband sent over a multitude of routes and gathered and reconstructed at the receiving endpoint.

It is like pouring a bucket of water into the ocean and pulling the same water molecules out at the other end.

Well, we have different understandings. I checked a bit and mine stayed the same. But check this out... 8.8.8.8 DNS is about the fastest that one can have their computer use https://www.whatismyip.com/google-dns/
