    Not coins but fun...

Thomas Jefferson is credited with writing, “When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty.” The seceding states in the Civil War period issued a similar declaration using the word “tyranny” as opposed to “injustice.”

Seemed to me like the guy in the vid forgot that there are 31.1035 grams per troy oz. And he kinda lost me when he went to dwt.
Oh well I do NOT want that many ounces of unrefined gold. Cost a lot of carbon tax to fuel the furnace to smelt that out to 5 nines.

Yup seller had his poop in a group

i heard there are sellers mixes play dirt with known quantity of panned gold dust, and know exactly what profit to be made on each order. IE sell the dream, don't screw the buyers but give them enough gold that still keep the buyers to come back for better luck

Somewhat annoying how he was so excited to pick up small pcs....jeez.

For 10k you can get more than 5 oz in solid gold coins.

He thinks sifting through a 5 gal bucket of dirt with a known amount of Au is orgasmic.

    Interesting video anyway.

I have come across other videos by that videographer on youtube. His angle is to provide a service
to people that buy that "gold dirt" off of ebay and other sources. His service is to evaluate the gold to cost
ratio of said "dirts" thereby giving a picture of the merit of various sellers and their products being offered as gold dirt.

My father was a hobby gold prospector and invested many hours and dollars in his hobby to get the joy of
scraping some gold out of the dirt for "free". That said, he got up into his 80's and could no longer persue
his hobby. I wanted him to have some joy for his birthday one year and purchased a bag of gold dirt for him as a gift.
Made for some wonderful photographs and life memories. (true story)

I've been a nugget collector for years. He is right about the extra premiums paid for a good quality unique nugget. Goldsmiths are on guard for anything that would make a good necklace, tie-clip, or a ring etc. and willing to pay the premiums.

Most gold nugget assays run about .91 to .92 pure.

I really like those sluice box riffles that he uses to catch the flour gold. I've never seen that type before.

Not into buying bagged soil but still interesting to watch. Thanks Vert.

Things being as they are, Perhaps it is a viable option to actually get your hands on some Au. I know a guy with a torch and crucible and tongs and leather suit....hmmmm. Also the nugs could be exchanged for something IMO. Gave away all my mercury....
