And China's big housing financial sector collapse? How much of that is US property?

I'm refereeing to the Evergrande collapse and the other companies it is tied into. I bet they are behind buying up a lot of US farmland the last couple of years. (in before the attempted collapse?)

Housing is in a bubble. It was in a bubble back in 2007-08 and many people, that could pay, didn't pay when they were upside down with their mortgages. They stopped paying and waited for the banks to foreclose and walked. I know at least one person that did this. What will cause the bubble to pop this time? Mortgage rates going up and buyer stop buying? Economy tanking and the few people still working get laid off? Inflation killing household incomes faster than wages can grow? Don't know, but it's not a time to be buying unless you have a get out of trouble plan in place. If you are a flipper, be quick with your flips.

It's not just housing that's in a bubble this time, so's the stock market. Fed's pumping trillions into the market seeking new all time hits. Got to keep the illusion going that the economy is running on all Tesla batteries.

When the S.M. tanks and housing tanks at the same time there will be no stopping the crash, IMHO. That's what the Fed's are worried about and the idiots in DC are just adding to the crisis with their stupid plan to spend trillions and trillions of borrowed dollars. You think taxes are high now just wait until China Joe gets done picking your pockets. If there's anyone with a brain that thinks he's going to pay for all the crap he's planning on doing only by soaking the rich needs to change their med's. There's no enough rick people to come even close. But maybe if you use the term rich to mean anyone one with any form of wealth then maybe, just maybe, taking all of the wealth of the upper lower class on up to filthy rich could make a dent in the spending. God only knows if we'd still have any economy at all at that point.

We are truly in trouble and the morons in charge are doubling or tripling down going all in on betting on a dead horse. You've got hand showing 22 in the game of 21 and haven't figured out that you can't bluff in 21 and calling "hit me" isn't going to fix anything.

What I don't get is that the Banks are doing the same thing all over the world. As A result Everyone is having A hard time finding affordable housing. All over the world the Rich are getting ever richer not based on production but speculation. You would think that we would all connect the dots and that there would be A revolution against the Central Bankers. In recent months their corruption has been exposed. They are just people with selfish motivations. Why are we letting them control how our hard earned money works?
I ask but already know the answer. The vast majority are simply not very interested, intelligent or motivated to try and understand anything beyond their own entertainment and desire.

The socialist are already putting compelling propaganda on YouTube blaming the "rich" and Capitalism. The FED always gets away with hiding in the shadows.

Thanks for your commentary. What these banks doing is what has been called "usury" as understood by Christians for 100's of years, now we never hear discussion of this sin, anyone heard a sermon that talks of usury? Why not? That is because it is now universal among those with power and wealth. It will result in a socialist backlash. It is inexcusable. So many rich foreigners here in California buying up real estate the hard working class can no longer afford (they know they need to put their inflated dollars into something real). Things are very bad right now, so many homeless living in filth! It's third world, and I see this problem in other states to, it's not just California. Will we ever get a leader to fight for the people, to tell them the truth? Not as things are now, with both parties in alliance with their banks and wealthy parasites who care not but to control the average good family, with the media in their hands to. They will just keep it on sexual, gender, racial bracketing, meanwhile far more important issues get ignored.

The fed is pumping trillions of borrowed bucks into the stock market propping it up. But nothing to see here. Business as usual. Everyone is doing it, so it must be okay. Modern monetary theory. See.

Put a socialist in charge and they can fix everything. Need money? Just print it. Need to pay off old debt, just print some more money. What's you're problem? It's simple, why didn't anyone every think of this before? I guess the socialist are just that much smarter than everyone else!

Of course, socialists never expect their rules to apply to them, just applies toward the smellies. The little people.

How many AOC's and Bernie types are multi-millionaires and yet have had not real jobs. Bar tender or being a Hippie doesn't pay that well. They use divide and conquer either race bathing or class warfare to gain power. Power is all they crave. They would pick on blue-eyed people or red-headed people if there was no other group that they could find to hate. Hitler did it, Stalin did it and Mao did it too. It's never their stupid ideas, it's always you are a victim or you are an oppressor.

Have we forgotten so much? We all need to stop looking at what someone else has and begin looking at what we can achieve and we'll be healthier and better off than listening to the satans of this world.

No poor person ever got rich by taking from a rich person and no government program ever made a poor person rich. Except through graft and that gravy train is reserved for friends and family or pol's. Public schools suck and that's why pol's kids don't go to them. Inner cities suck and that's because if they didn't the pol's couldn't control things. Shot mandates are now being used to control people. Don't follow the orders and we'll crush you. No job, no travel, to shopping and the pol's ignore their own rules and as I said, the rules are only for the masses. Power and more power for them and less for you.

Do more than $600 in transactions in a year, the IRS needs to see just what you are doing with your own money. Just who the heck do you think you are? You're not smart enough to decide that, the government will need to step in and help you spend the little money they don't take in taxes. Smelly. You must shop at Walmart. Yuck. Be a good little sheeple and fall in line. You know you can't think for yourself!

A couple of things that I wish people would stop and think about, if you are a Christian, do you remember the 10 commandments? I know, that's way back in Sunday school and all that. What was that story about coveting?

    “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house . . . your neighbor’s wife . . . nor anything that is your neighbor’s” (Exodus 20:17).

The 10th Commandment looks at our motivations and cautions us to mind our own business and not envy others.

Plus here in America, we had the American Dream:

The American dream is the belief that anyone, regardless of where they were born or what class they were born into, can attain their own version of success in a society in which upward mobility is possible for everyone. The American dream is believed to be achieved through sacrifice, risk-taking, and hard work, rather than by chance.

Bankers are part of the problem, they get everyone deep in debt. Control the little people. Don't save, buy the latest greatest whatever. More, more, more. Don't stop and think just maybe I should put some wealth aside and not get the the iPhone 99 just because I want to impress my neighbor who bought a Tesla on an 8 year lease. Put it on a credit card at 22% interest. No sweat just make the $10 minimum payment each month. I'm the big bank and I have your best interest at heart. Interest. Get it? interest!

You should feel sorry for yourself, driving that a seven year old Hyundai that works just fine. Trade it in, man. Get some more debt. It's not your fault that you can't buy that $120K Ford pickup. It's the rich. Yeah, they are stealing from you by giving you a job that only pays $20/hour. You did go almost all the way through high school, didn't you? See oppressors are out to get you. We'll help you out, just turn over your life to us and we'll solve all your problems. Just help us get that rich person. You know, that rich person that funds my reelection each time I run for office. That one.

Their latest solution is if you don't vote the right way, the pol's plan on replacing you with others that they'll bring in that we'll be beholding to them. No Covid-19 rules or showing ID's for them. No travel restrictions. They're not smellies. They're the new greatest plan to solve the voting issues. Dumb smellies. How darn they......

I hope everyone here is getting their lives in order, 'cause I for one, don't think this is going to end well.

It's not right. China clamped down on this kind of behavior a little bit to late, but better than never, now here we just keep creating more and more plebes. Next is the government paying the rent money to the rich people as UBI comes in here. The rich are smart, they like income streams and diversified investments. In this case they just use stock market winnings to down payment.

Kind of a foolish country but hey, world reserve currency and steadfast rule that rich get richer while poor get poorer, thus bailouts as consumer driven economy goes through regular contractions. I have to say, compared to the 400 stimulus check we got back in whatever this last year or two has been like a helicopter drop we never envisioned.
The main reason the poor keep getting poorer is because they are, by and large, stupid. They rent instead of buy their homes, they take expensive vacations financed with credit cards, they buy new cars instead of used (or worse, lease them), they spend hundreds if not thousands on Harleys, jet-skis, ATVs, humungous flatscreen TVs, etc., all paid with credit. They buy lottery tickets, expensive clothing, tattoos, they smoke cigarettes, they spend money on booze and pot that they ought to be using to reduce debts.

No amount of government spending will ever alleviate poverty - many, many people are just to stupid to make good decisions and live within their means. The fact is, government spending has exactly the opposite effect - it allows people to blow whatever money they have on things they don't need, because Uncle Sugar is providing the necessities.
