    Default Houses and Apartments in Pandemic

    How about huge growth in real estate? In a pandemic, houses and apartments sell more expensive and better than before the pandemic. Does the people still have money?

    I closed on a condo up the street from me last November. Paid $305K. The same condo a few units down in the complex just came on the market for $419K. I'll be curious to see what they get for it. Also noticed inventory of multi-families has spiked and they don't stay on the market very long. Some contractor bought a house around the corner from me for $700K. bulldozed it and started building new. Within 30 days there was an undercontract sign on the lawn. Pretty wild times. That's just my local experience though.
