That Sir, is an incredible coin! It's absolutely beautiful and chock full of history. Again, if coins could talk... The fact that it scores 5 out of 5 for surfaces and strike blows my mind. Did it take you a long time to find such a thing? I mean, you probably had to shop around for awhile before you found it because they're not just lying around everywhere. Even though I don't collect ancients, I can highly appreciate the beauty and workmanship from that era- especially given the tools they had to work with. It's really impressive.
P.S. WW is the best when it comes to helping someone get an image up on screen. Kudos to you both!

Thx Bronk...since I began buying metal around 2007, Ive become friendly with the owner....he travels around the country buying and selling at shows....he knows what I like and gives me great deals on them....I trust his opinion, hes well known and highly reputable.
He will usually send me a text with the picture only...some like these, I just had to have.

I say this all the time... It PAYS to have good relationships with LCS's and dealers. You can trust them and they can trust you. Reputations work both ways, IMO. And as long as everyone's happy, that's great. He gets some good deals on the road and otherwise, makes a little money and is happy with that, and gives you a great deal on the flip side. What could be better?
As for that coin, I'd have been sorely tempted to pick that one up myself.

He has let me leave with the coins on credit...since I dont travel around with checks or mountains of cash. Didnt want someone else to see the coin and make a bigger offer...you never know.
You are exactly right....he buys the coins unslabbed and ungraded at discounts because he knows their value....we make a deal for the coin, he sends it for grading....if its graded above his grade, I keep the upside, if it comes in lower, he reduces the price....but he makes out no matter what because hes buying from people who don't know what they have.
