Well, sure. That's easy when TPTB think they have a blank check that any amount can be filled in with. It's the old "I can't be broke, I still have some checks." all over again.

I wonder what would happen to any one of us individuals if WE wrote checks without the "money" to back them up... Yeeeeah. We'd all be in prison.

I'll be one of the first out here to let you guys know when the flood is started because I'm totally connected to the fed, I figure the amount of transactions we do may as well just have the account number to make it easy. They said it starts this weekend.
Check on how much those kids cost, and you won't think "raking it". Now, most of the people I know have small businesses that have received over $40K in PPP "loans" (they will never be repaid as they get forgiven), and some of them know mid-sized businesses that have received in the millions. So many well off people have done VERY well under covid; if anyone thinks this was some plan by socialist to bring more equity, you are WAY off target. This is another case of how digitization and government-banker programs have once again helped increase the wealth divide, not made it better, the wealthy also happy with their stock gains. I can't complain, I to have had my best year ever, and yeah, I got that PPP, "raking it" in, but even that is nothing compared so many other ways people are getting digits through big G programs. That per kid stimulus ($1400??) is nothing, a tip so will be more compliant and grateful to your masters.

For all you who didn't get tens of $K with PPP, sorry -- but at least I'm being honest about what's happening, unlike so many wealthy dems I know who act like they care for all these "disenfranchised" people while keeping quiet on all they are getting at the expense of those they pretend to cry for. Do remember: neither I, those in government, nor those with substantial wealth give a damn about you, it's a dog eat dog world out there, those "stimulus" crumbs you are getting is really coming from your future earning, so do enjoy while you can, nothing is really free, and most people with good amounts of wealth know how to keep it, don't imagine voting for more communism will help you. Yee workers of humble means will end up paying for the piper, while the wealthy elite can flee to greener pastures as the times may call for it -- those travel restrictions are not for them. (I know some of them who have vacationed in Hawaii and Bali during these times, flying round the world, yet still upset at those "white-supremacist" back at home who do not like to wear masks).

You are way off target. Sure some businesses banked big on the pandemic.

You are ignoring how many small businesses were destroyed by Democrat lock downs. How high unemployment is in Democrat states.

If you do Not get stimmy #1
If you do Not get stimmy #2
and If you do Not get stimmy #3,

Does that mean the IRS does not even know you exist?

Both I, friends and family, have kept various businesses open, many of us had our best year ever. Still, we get lots of PPP, and some even got unemployment as it was easy to show no income for a good period), even if over the entire year they did better (it was time to get some expensive equipment!) Sole proprietors making over $100K should have been able to get about 20K in the first round, then 2nd round the same. However I just go an e-mail from my financial institutions, seems like there is some change and now maybe I can get even more. Just doing the dance and raking in some digits, this is to easy.

I know a lot of people that got big PPP loans and some of them really didn't need it. I didn't take a single loan and honestly I can't complain business has been great except for a business I started with my sister in 2017. Covid hit us hard but I told my sister in June enough is enough I'm not dumping another cent and closed down the operation.

I'm not a fan of government bailouts, if you're business doesn't survive too bad too sad move on get lean and save for something else.
