Quite relevant considering the past 2020.

Now that you mentioned it, one of those bats looked a lot like Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
"It's the lure of easy money - It's got a very strong appeal." - Glenn Frey (The Smuggler's Blues)

"A wise and frugal government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned." - Thomas Jefferson

I totally get where you're coming from about the U.S. Mint's commemorative issues. It seems like they're constantly releasing new ones, and it can be overwhelming to keep up with all of them. I'm with you - I usually only go for the silver or gold ones if I can get them for a good price.

It's funny you mention the "special W" mintmark designs from last year's quarters. I heard about those too, and some people were really going crazy trying to find them. Personally, I didn't bother, and it sounds like you didn't have much luck with them either.
At the end of the day, collecting should be fun, so I try not to take it too seriously. It's all about what you enjoy and what makes you happy.
    Happy collecting!
