I’m looking for rhodium in bar/coin form and everything seem to be around 10k/ ounce. Is this normal or have prices just not fully reflected the latest drop in price yet? Where do you guys go the buy Rhodium? It seems most places are sold out.

That's about right.
The price you see on here is Kitcos buy price and it's averaging on about $3000!!! less per oz .
I don't think that you are going to find any reasonable priced bar and/or coin for some very long time -
1. We were already in a deficit going into 2020.
2. The largest producing mines in South Africa are currently closed.
3. The Corona virus has yet to hit South Africa and when it does it could affect the county badly and the mines from opening for a very long time.
RH was already one of the rarest metals on earth before we entered this pandemic and now I presume it has become near unobtainable.
I see, thanks for the response.
I think I’m gonna buy a 1 gram coin just for fun and see if I get a better entry point in the future for a larger amount.
I would avoid investing in Rhodium in bullion form. When the price does go high, nobody will want to buy from you anywhere near what you would expect (if at all). With Rhodium bullion, you pay more for the metal, AND sell is back for less, then if you had in pool or some other paper record form. I see bullion Rhodium as a scam, designed to appeal to those who use gold, silver, and platinum bullion. Palladium is also this way (to a lesser degree), so I avoid stacking Palladium also.
“Of all the contrivances for cheating the laboring class of mankind, none has been more effective than that which deludes them with paper money.”Daniel Webster (1782-1852)
If you compare it to buying silver bullion at a premium and selling a few % below spot, is the difference really that pronounced?
Is it better to take a big slice of a small cake?
Or take a smaller slice of a bigger cake?
no right answers, but people can make money employing both strategies.
I would look for a new buyer besides Kitco unless you buy their Rhodium powder sponge which you can sell back to them
I would stay far away from the sponge. If the packaging is distorted they will hit you heavy to have the whole product recertified
Thanks for info
