technically it is the wrong forum; however, the rhodium forum is lightly populated, so i thought i might get more eyes in the hot and heavy silver forum!

Rhodium is extremely volatile as we have all seen, huge moves up and down. I wouldn't be surprised to see it back to the $600-$800 range. I'd be a buyer under $1,000 but its extremely hard to acquire and sell at least here in the states.

i noticed, even at its recent peak, that the bid and ask prices were very wide.

Do your own research before you buy (Suppl/Demand), use money you don't need, and it is easy to buy and harder sell.

If you are going to do it, best stick to some rhodium holding ETF, and prepare for a wild ride, combined with lows that seem like forever. Unlike with the big three (gold, silver, platinum), there is no advantage to having in bullion form.

worse decision i ever made selling my rhodium when i did. holding just 18 more months would have been life changing financially for me. i wonder where it will top off and when if ever gold will be lifechanging.

I don't think gold will ever behave like Rhodium -- which is the reason I have gold for savings. If it did, I would find something else to use for savings. There are a other rare metals you can speculate on that can multiply in value dramatically, also many digital financial products. The trick is being good at guessing which is at low cost now, but sure to explode in value in the not to distant future. Had you known this, you would have held on to the Rhodium (as would have I) -- but no use beating yourself up on this, and if getting rich quick is you thing, look around, many product and stock people claim will soon multiply greatly in value, speculate and have fun with them, just never get tricked in to gambling to much by anyone claiming to have a crystal ball.
