Thread: The Fed lost control

Did the Fed really loose control? Or did it take control at a new level & move the wealth from one group of people to another group of people at a faster rate than ever before because that is what those who run it wanted to do?

I intended to make the short & simple post above, before I read tiki's last post, which basically says the same thing. Perhaps the mask is finally coming off & different people are seeing the same thing at the same time.

Inflation is totally out of the control of central banks.

The Fed does nothing real. They issue one form of debt to pay
another form of debt. They issue short term bonds to pay long
    term bonds.

we don't, and there are a few here, me included, who believe it's much worse than reported
I agree, it's much worse than stated.

It looks like finally the authorities are thinking on how to stop
    the debasement of the dollar.

There is now a Congressional caucus on sound money.

Congress & Sound Money in the same sentence?

Send that one to Seinfeld. He might need some new stand up material.

Also and oxy-maroon is a sound FDR (chuckle) ...kind of like a good tooth ache.

Actually, I like the removing of the "collectables" tax (28%). That ought to drive the price of metal through the roof. Now, maybe, we know why Buffet invested in Barrack Gold.

What value did Burisma think to gain by hiring Hunter Biden as a Board member vs ALL other choices?

Those who cannot articulate the other argument do not fully understand their own argument.

There's been many attempts at sound money Bills over the years ......
