Default Water is the most important commodity

There is a water crisis unfolding. It can become bad.

The big banks and other big financial institutions have been
quietly accumulating thousands of acres of land with aquifers,
lakes, water rights, shares in water utilities and other water
    companies..

My note: Why do you believe that the President wants to buy Greenland from Denmark ?

This is why I live where I do. We have two wells in proven aquifer, both wells have ran all day at 30gal. a minute, super soft water, average depth is 150 feet, static at less than 50 feet.
Small business is the incubator of employment. As it declines, so too do opportunities for first jobs, second chances and economic independence.

static less than 50' is good. have you tried an old fashioned hand pump on top of your well just in case you run out of electricity? i am guessing you have a gas generator but just in case?? i am curious. i am tied into a good aquifer about 160 deep with static level less than 15' and have a mechanical pump but have not tried it yet.

Agree fully...nothing is more essential than water, preferably clean and drinkable.

Living on Long Island there are abundant lakes and streams....but if/when I move this will be at the top of my requirements.

what do u mean by 'static at < 50 feet'?

That means that the water level in the well shaft is only 50 feet beloe the ground level. He only has t pump the water up 50 feet even though the well depth of the pump may be 100' 150' 200' deep. My well is 200+ feet deep, but the water head is at 40 foot down.

We didn't hit the aquifer till we got down to 110 feet, once we started drilling up little fossilized seashells, snails and pea gravel, we stopped at 160 feet in the better well. We can pull out 30 gallons a minute if we want. IOW after caseing the newer well and letting it sit for awile, the static pressure of the water line was less than 40 feet. But when pulling water quickly the ststic will drop to about 60 feet and hold steady. Threw out the years the static has varied 40 to 50 feet.

I can use our wind pump, hand jack, well bucket or a small cheap DC electric pump on 300 watts of solar power and two 12v deep cycles.

However im tempted to buy one of the new 400 watt solar pumps that require no batteries. $1500 systems.

The well we use for our house is in the lower 40 and is all electric. The new well is in the upper 40, above the house. Currently being used to only fill a 500 gallon stock tank.

I think oil is most important commodity because it pollutes the water, great plastic revolution we are stuck in too, give me some of that plastic water.

Water is so plentiful, over half my body weight is just water. Now clean water.. Their will be less of. Aquifers will continue to be drawn down as they cannot replenish themselves as fast as we pump them.

Aquifers in my area are recharged by switch and native grasses mostly. Grasses thathave deep roots. My naighbors and ranchers understand this too. We have areas just for native grasses, and we do cut them for prairie hay. A huge asset and many areas are just grazed not over grazed because water is just as important as ranching and farming.
I feel blessed to be in a area and feel that we will never run our small Aquifer dry.

    Location, location, location.

Also one man can bring the aquifers back. See this great American....
