Default NO growth for first quarter

Atlanta Fed’s closely watched GDP tracker shows next to no growth for first quarter

The closely watched Atlanta Fed’s initial estimate for first quarter growth is just 0.3 percent.
The forecast shows an economy that has stalled out after the fourth quarter’s 2.6 percent gain.
Many Wall Street economists have been expecting first quarter growth to track below 2 percent but for the most part they were above 1 percent.

"No Growth!!" shout the democrats....as they cheer!!!

Non stop attacks and obstruction of President Trump leads to slow to no growth and people wonder...deep state still firmly in control.

Trump can't "save us". No one can. Obama did inherit a certain economic dynamic from Bush. (Not that Obama knew what to do with it). But Obama did what he did. In the midst of his Modern Monetary bubble was the best recovery the market could do given it's impediments.

Trump inherited what Obama left - a life-style/balance sheet mess (with statistics, perhaps, that can excuse it, but a collapsing society that resulted in Trump's election and a rejection of more of the same (Hillary).

No matter what Trump does, the equal and opposite reaction of what ever policy he attempts will only continue the bubble. When you're up to your ass in alligators, it's hard to remember you initial objective was to drain the swamp.

Trump's tax cut is not met with fiscal cuts (just like Reagan's). The stock market which has everyone's pension and IRA hangs of whether the Fed raises rates another .025 or not. How screwy is that. What can Trump do? But his idea that people should keep more of their money is a good one. That government should spend smarter with less is also a good idea.

That bubble healthcare insurance cost are ill designed (for Hospitals, doctors and insurers, not for patients), and government fed higher education cost are a theft, that teacher unionism and federal government unionism rapes the public and laws are constructed to bubble the economy (usurious credit card interest rates, student loans not dischargeable and so much more means the cards are stacked against "fixing" anything given the "fix" is already in.

What value did Burisma think to gain by hiring Hunter Biden as a Board member vs ALL other choices?

Those who cannot articulate the other argument do not fully understand their own argument.

We can tread water. Then drop the interest rate. Last hike didn't last long. Then it's off to the races, or .. race to the bottom again.
