good lord, i thought it stopped climbing a few months ago because it was steadily dropping for a month and a half so i sold it all and made a poultry 7k profit over 15 months, and paid property taxes, now it has gone past the recent high and has gone up amazingly the past 3 weeks. had i not gotten scared and rather had kept it ... i would be another 4k ahead in just the past 5 weeks. my earlier huntches may have been right on that it could go back over 7 or 8 k per ounce. damn there just is no actuarials available to try to make an educated guess. it just drives me ****ing nuts. i wish the silver would take a hint from rhodium and actually do something instead of just sitting there melting away for the past 8 years. but just about the time i sell silver to buy more rhodium again silver will start its upturn and rhodium may drop like the heavy metal it is. no wonder us old farts have gray hairs. nothing makes any sense.

I don't know how you ever came to that conclusion as RH must have been one of the best performing metals on here in 2018. I hope that it takes out $4000 in 2019 but one can only dream.

Remember that this baby was once over $9k an ounce and I'm not cashing in until it takes it out again.

But I know basic math, so I can buy low, and sell high. I'm just selling now - -already did half -- if it hits $3,000, I will sell more, if it declines to $1200 or so -- I'll be a buyer again.

Those who are sitting on Rhodium waiting for $7K/oz may need to wait a very long time
-- perhaps when $7K is like $1K of today, not $2400 like now. When trading -- time frame should be more important then an obsession of fiat digit price -- as fiat digits are not a stable yardstick -- it is not like a metric of value -- as it declines greatly over time. Are there so few left at Kitco who have forgotten this? Sometimes it seems like I'm the only one on the anti-fiat crusade, guess everyone now is just so happy with their stocks?
You have to love these predictions.

    Hi Max,

There is nothing wrong with that and I know what you mean.

I can't sell what I have because it would be impossible to buy the same amount of ozs with the profit again. So I,m having to hold on for the ride.

I could lose a lot of money here or I could gain some more.

It's scary, but also nice to watch when you go into the weekend having made more than $8K in a week.

I know that the price will drop by $300 per day soon, but something strange is going on here this time, and when it drops, it doesn't seem to sit around for long like it did, and its rises back up again.

    Are you still holding?

I don't understand why anyone would want to be in Gold and Silver when you look at RH.

Anybody still holding? I originally bought Rh because I thought "what if it goes quickly up to $10K again". I considered it little risk for chances of big gains when I purchased at about $1200/oz. Then it did nothing, then went down to $600, and I did not buy more at the lows because of the very high premiums. Lots of bad news came on Rhodium, including many who assured all that the past shoot to dah moon was a one time event due to a "perfect storm" never to be repeated again. So I sold my last Rhodium as it went over $3K an ounce. And now this. Anybody kept the faith, and still holding for that $9-10k repeat?

One thing for sure: I will never trust big talking experts again. Big talkers are always fake.
