The corn situation was really bad, because of too much rain.
Now, the whole acreage which could be planted with corn
    was planted.

Because is expected to be bad, in the next years there will
be a greater demand for fertilizers. Mosaic Co (MOS-NYSE)
is probably going to have lots of business.

    Perfect storm
    ---------------

This year grains were planted late, due to big rains.
Weather forecasts, including solar cycles, is bad for the
    crops.

One simple way to invest in this is GRU-ETF. It is an ETF
which invests in corn, wheat and soybeans (soybeans oil too).

Next 5-8 years will see huge gains in commodities.
This is valid not only for mined commodities but
for soft commodities too (coffee, cotton..)

    A few points:

----S & P 500 and the DOW are transitioning to bear market
It is the NASDAQ, technology heavy, pulling up the markets

----the global stock markets are overstretched. Something is
    going to give.

----the interactive brokers tightened their margin requirements

----circuit breakers for stock markets have increased from
cca 5 5 to cca 7 %. You do not want to see circuit breakers
activated a few times a day, creating panic

----in 2009 there was a crisis in the financial system of USA.
Now a global crisis in financial markets is looming

Price of industrial metals is going up. The likely cause is inflation, as the
industrial demand did not increase due to the pandemics.

    Agriculture commodities on the rise.

This is a very competent interview with a Teucrium fund manager.

Basically he says that agricultural commodities are in a big and
    increasing deficit.

Take eg soybeans. Brazil is the largest producer...but the Chinese bought
it all. Moreover, the Chinese bought hugely soybeans from USA.

Corn is produced massively, but the demand is growing faster. End stocks
of corn decreased to dangerous margins.
