And the winner for 2018 is chocolate.

Look at the relative performance in 2018. After VIX, the top performers
are cocoa, wheat, oats, palladium and corn.

Look at the futures

Lean hogs and other livestock futures are doing fine.
Searching for livestock ETF's gives three names:
COW, UBC, LSTK

My note: there are also livestock ETF's listed on other exchanges,
like HOGS-London
Commodities are back in 2019.
---------------------------------
In 2019 commodities were the asset class with the best returns.
Rising inflation is boosting commodities.
Low interest rates are boosting commodities.
Commodities are a good diversification from the overvalued shares.
Investors plowed in 14.7 billion US $ in commodity funds in 2019.

Many commodity funds are up, like USCI, DBC, CORN, WEAT,
DBA....
Corn and wheat are doing well indeed:
https://finviz.com/futures.ashx
I have looked at Diversified Broad Commodities ETF'S .....
and I liked what I saw. Eg:
YTD (Year-To-Date) Performance:
GSG----12.7 %
PDBC----8.3 %
DBC-----7.8 %
There are other commodity ETF's like that, but thinly traded.
Remark though that they are volatile.
Corn is up 4 % and wheat is up about 3 %.
Not bad for one day.
It looks like it is time for commodities, not equities.
Corn crop is bad this year. Corn price is going to go up.

The commodity fund CORN is going to soar.
