So I am planning on ordering at least 1 tomorrow. I have never ordered anything from the mint on its release date so I was hoping for a little advice as far as dealing with the waiting room and what-not. Thanks in advance.

I haven't either but looking at the site, it doesn't seem like any gold sells out too quickly. It looks like most of what's out now has much lower mintage's as well.

I've seen unopened shipping boxes listed online to prove unopened from the mint. Do I need to place separate orders from the mint so I can do the same?

Set up an account with CC payment info ready prior to 9am PT 8:55 am PT login http://catalog.usmint.gov/mercury-di...oduct-schedule and hit refresh untill remind Me Button turns in to order Button Hit it and order away.
You order will ship in sealed box just dont open if you plan on flipping sealed box

Well THAT was kindof a cluster_uck. Refreshing on laptop and phone, pages not responding etc, and then there were (4) added to my order which I did not want to do, had to start all over including logging back in to add the desired 2.

But all is good- have (2) on the way.

Yes if you want one coin in each sealed box. Otherwise, they'll ship them all in the same box.
