Report: U.S. Oil Production May Surpass Saudi Arabia and Russia in 2018

    http://www.breitbart.com/national-se...a-russia-2018/

The latest report from the International Energy Agency (IEA) finds American oil production at its highest level in 50 years and projects that it will surpass that of Saudi Arabia and Russia in 2018.

“This year promises to be a record-setting one for the U.S.,” the IEA said, predicting “explosive” growth on tap for the American oil industry.

Bloomberg News notes a fascinating aspect of the coming U.S. oil boom: it is partly driven by measures OPEC put in place to deal with falling oil prices, which were driven down by a previous surge in American production and the resulting “oil glut.”

    I assume you mean WTI.
Brent price is currently at $68.61, crossed above $70 last week.

I think oil price had gone up a bit too fast, should be 55-60 wti for first half 2018

the 55-60 numbers I quote for H1 of 2018 doesn't include war premium.
If production disruption arises from Venezuela and/or Saudi due to political turmoil, we can pop into 80's territory very fast.

with the current export pipeline capacity limitation, the discount of Canadian bitumen is HUGE-MONG-GUS.

if you want my estimate, oil sand producers presently are getting 5- 9 USD/bbl for their goo

trump should take advantage of this and upgrade all of US roads and highways

Canada is losing $13 premium for every barrel of oil produced because we can't export them to countries willing to pay more like china, EU, india, etc

Also this which I don't blame US but Canada Stupid leftist gov't and brainwashed anti oil protestors who shut down export pipeline
