How do you insert an image??

I know, for some reason I can't get the picture to just show up in the thread. In other forums I have no problem, just the Kitco website does this to me. I used to be able to do it here, but the forum software has changed.

Seems to be working with the , but it looks like you 'attached' it somehow instead. ?

If you upload one from your computer the only way to get it to show up as an actual picture is to do what I posted in post #9.

Take the image code from the forums you can post on easily and then just copy and paste it here.

Every time I try to insert an image into my post, I get an error that the file is to big...too square...too anything at all...EVERY FRUSTRATING TIME. No idiot here...I know how the buttons work...I also know the mods have set up a bunch of filters for certain words and now suspect censorship on inserting photos...what else am I supposed to think?

click on insert image button...select URL...fail....every time for the last 10 times!....for chrissakes!! How do you do it?...the "how to" thread doesn't say?

That thread was created on the previous version of the forum software. Feel free to flag up anything that seems to be different now.

I see that the "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" option complains the file is too large. It's a 55KB gif which probably exceeds a forum limit.
