    Default Tesla

Unquenchable demand for their cars at 70k a pop---lower priced sedan coming out 2014-2015--new factory opening in europe---orders from asia coming in. Anyone else feel like this company is a game changer and the stock has much more to run?? Got in at $125 and feel comfortable letting it ride with Elon Musk as high oil prices will help sales. Production of 500k is company goal with current prod at 21k--this baby is just starting----anyone else on board?

They need to do 6M in sales. Good luck...way overpriced stock. Cool looking cars.

Demand will slack off when the market corrects.

    Can't eat a tesla.

    Default Profitable at 21k

Im not sure why 6m is the magic number when 21k makes them profitable---also a 25% margin on each car sold is tremendous..im of the opinion the world isnt ending within 5 years so will worry about eating a tesla at a later stage

I am not talking profitability. They need 6M in sales to justiy the current stock price. Plus the auto market is a tough gig.

AMZN is not proitable and they too are extremely overvalued.

I would not buy tesla even with mr bull bodieghosts money.

    Just my opinion.

Atlas I agree with you its overvalued but its on a huge momentum rush and this is not ending anytime soon that I can see---seems as if amzn nflx tsla are playing by their own rules so riding the upward momentum is the play for me

They aren't profitable, they are getting huge federal (direct) and state subsidies (emissions and direct) that are well over $20,000 per car.

This is the most over valued car company in history, I've been thinking about shorting it recently.

I'm paying less for gas now then 3 months ago, so far these higher oil prices haven't hit the market (maybe the seasonal changeover to winter blends).

I thought that for the past five years with AMZN. However, shorting in this market is suicide.

While I agree with your assessment, timing is everything.

Still waiting for a small diesel 4 banger truck with 45 mpg. Dream on for the US to ever see that. Cash for clunkers killed basic mechaniship for the do it yourselfer and opened up passage for eco-unfriendly hybrids . Ford sells the 4 banger diesel truck in Brazil and opening factory in Thailand sells for reasonable price. Dream on for Americans diesel is cheaper to process and costs more at the pump. Todays technology not really dirty as compared to Rare Earth mineral mining for a Prius.

A couple well-known for fuel mileage records on regular roads notched 84.1 mpg in a Volkswagen Passat diesel with six-speed manual.

That high mileage let them go 1,621.1 miles on a single tank of fuel in a three-day ramble through nine states from Houston to Northern Virginia, VW and the couple say.

for 50k-70k you can get a tesla car that will take you 250 miles down the road and they can produce 20,000 cars a year? Thank you Obama. Maybe today is getting in on the ground floor of something transpiring of things to come if the tesla car 250 mile range increases with more plug in stations.

Then we have Tata in India looking to come into the US and European markets boasting 100km per liter of things to come. 100 km is about 62 miles. about 4 liters per gallon. 4 x 62 = 248 MPG. Tata cars are very inexpensive most likely will not be approved by EPA for US consumption to keep the Saudi's happy with petro dollars.

why didn't the scientist Tesla get to teach us how to use free energy from the atmosphere?

Please excuse the little rant, Hope good things come of it and after learning more maybe they can especially if they hold the vision..
