Nor should you be worried. You and dare I say, every single person here on this forum, are head and shoulders above most people, who have what, a couple of pieces of 10k or 14k jewelry sitting around somewhere. A wedding ring, maybe? Some sterling silver jewelry, perhaps? A jar half full of change on their dresser? Grandpa's coin collection that they're probably going to sell at a yard sale for pennies? We are in the extreme minority of people who seriously stack precious metals. That in itself should help us sleep better at night. And yes, I'm sure that many of us also have stores of food and guns/ammo and medical supplies and even some land. I know I do and I like many others here, have been doing it for a while.

So they can monkey hammer the metals all they want, like they're doing today. It doesn't matter. That just steels my resolve even further. I know that a lot of people are waiting with baited/bated breath to see exactly what the Fed does tomorrow. I'll still be buying as I always have. Chip, chip, chip away- it all adds up and the longer that guys like you and I take more and more off the table only makes it better for us. The thing is, IMO, nothing has changed, whether the "war" with Russia and Ukraine go on for the rest of the year or ends tomorrow. The fundamentals are all still there and stacking is still one of the best ways to save that exists today. I'm certainly not leaving most of my "money" in some savings account earning crap for interest.

Not trying to get political, but it's all tied in together and sometimes you can't avoid it: 40 year record high inflation, record high gas prices (which affects everything else ), still "printing" money to beat the band, open borders, absolutely abysmal foreign policy, Afghanistan fiasco (dead Americans, people left behind), Covid-19 fiasco (no mask, mask, 2 masks, 1 shot, 2 shot, booster shots ad nauseam), Green New Deal BS ("the world will end in 12 years!"- AOC 1/22/2019), a clearly corrupt and compromised, plagiaristic and demented, child/female groping 47 year politician who has never held a real job is supposedly the leader of the free world? OMG, what? It goes on and on. Crime figures are up, so "Defund the police" is NOW "Fund the Police". Mmmhm. Nice flip-flop there. Energy independence killed and now Ole' Sippy Cup is begging to buy oil from murderous dictators and from Opec. Insidious and blatant assaults on numerous Constitutional freedoms and Amendments. CBDC (Oh, it's coming... Think we have no privacy now? We ain't seen nuttin' yet.), Social credit scores (like China has now)- I just, I can't even. This just isn't the same America I grew up in.

    Okay, rant over. (for now)

That photo, with the hairline crack, brought to mind when an injured employee at work was x-rayed with a hairline crack to his forearm and a cast applied. Later, after a closer inspection of the x-ray, it was determined to be a hair. Anyway, a pretty cool coin with what appears to be a crack.
