I really thought the economy would have caused a fed pivot (or pause) by now. Any way I continue to average down on EXK Jan 19th 2024 $5 calls. Now holding 800 contracts avg, @ .39. $31.2K total invested...currently down$17.2K....Isn't that much further down to get to zero, but every dime up is $8K now. That is if the word "up" is still in the mining sector language lol.
Got the rest of the year for a spark...pretty ugly for the moment. OH WELL...............

Very true, however old capital losses and a vibrant depreciation schedule with a good CPA may help a little. If it goes way up (dreaming here) I can sell some and exercise the rest to carry over into another year. Even so I'm sure that Biden will get his pound of flesh. Alternatively I may just end up living in a box under a bridge somewhere...lol. I could always throw away all my Identifications And pretend to be an illegal alien and live the life of Riley.

not much of a "score" if you will, but, i am still buying along the way. still prefer silver over gold or platinum these days. been waiting on a friend to act on his commitment to sell me his portfolio of remaining 90% halfs and silver dollars and bars at a good fair price. meanwhile i got 2 kilo bars on the bay through auction at a 7% premium. too much premium but all i could find. silver getting more scarce and more folks beginning to stack. of course i will test the bars as soon as i get them.
