Note- my 1st post on 10oz bars vanished. Should I not be posting on bullion silver on this thread? A kind note on that would be better if so.

I am reporting finding 10 oz bars at $3 over spot with silver down to $22/oz. Again, if this is not appropriate discussion here, just let me know, I'm just a simple PM stacker who does so as a form of reliable savings.

Nope, there was a prior one, but who knows, maybe it was just my computer having problems on this site, I still can't use "reply with quotes" for example.

Anyway, with silver dropping under $22, very good price IMO, and with premiums not crazy like they were in 2020, you would think more would be "scoring" now? I'm a gold bug first, but with silver at 80:1 ratio to gold, I think it's time for silver....

Maybe all the talk is at reddit and other places now (or social media empires such as Facebook) nobody finding this forum?

I am having the same tech issues. I have found work arounds though. Time consuming, so I stopped the silver coin of the day bit. But for cool stuff I'll take the effort.

Congratulations on your 10 oz Bar. It got me to thinking which would I rather have, a ten ounce bar or a minty 1906 Florin? I must say I can make very goo arguments, to myself, for either.

Ultimately I would probably choose both.

The gold to silver ratio has been saying " buy silver" to me for a couple years now.

    DYODD, they say.

In good enough condition, I would go for the Florin (Britannia is one of my favorite subjects), however just 1, would do the trade now with one of my 10 oz bars if we lived in the same area. Right now, I have Gold, Platinum, and Silver Britannia Bullion on the way - not only because they are pretty, but also have found them to have some of the lowest premiums. Apparently, the Royal Mint is not to greedy or just knows how to run operations more smoothly.

Lately the Royal mint has been on the cheaper side, compared to Perth and others. Even the Canadian mint seems pricey. Austria, also seems to have lower prices.

The US mint is out of their minds.
