Sold my 3 rolls of circulated 40% for $210 (3x $70) and used the cash towards a purchase four 10 ounce silver bars. The 40% Kennedy halves were picked up at face many years ago so cost was $30. Many of them were in AU to MS60, but a few were tarnished. No culls or heavily worn coins. I was very happy with the price received since melt wasn't all that much more and 40% isn't known for getting great prices.

Bars were two type 12 Cxxxxxx Englehard, & two Silvertowne bars for total $1190 - $210 = $980 out of pocket. I just saw one Englehard 12 Cxxxxxx bar on eBay for for $495.

The coin show was in the Polish Community Center in Albany, NY. Its a 90+ minute drive for me. Next one is in December, but I have a conflict with that date.

Look what arrived. I had the seller switch out the Trump round for a Diez peso from 1956 at their request.

They wanted to keep the Trump round for their personal collection. I didn't mind, considering the rest of the lot.
as far i can remember, some mints ( in some years ) are rarer if i remember right the J mint. Those german 5 and 2 mark coins are very common because people saved them as an apple for the thirst. In those years in germany precious metals were really precious ....

Imports and their prices were very close watched by the central bank. And even long after the war in europe even non german producers and exporters followed third reich quality standards and pricings up to far into the 19seventies because they had set fair standards.

65 oz. total. Two rolls of eagles and tube of maples mint sealed. All at 26$. Been wanting to buy gold but at 75:1 to too hard to pass up. Also bought alot of 40% quarters, mint sealed proofs as well, One of my favorites. Most likely will flip some into platinum or gold.

I'm more excited about the 40% quarters. LOL! Almost 50 years old and still mint sealed airtites. Saved $1200 last month replacing my honda starter myself, today was payday.

I own two of those quarters you speak of. A real oddity in U.S. numismatics. Good stuff.

Got a deal from one of the busiest shops in east coast. Bought 3 of the Canadian flower coins when gold was $520. Got them for $550 each. Got home and looked them up and they are 1.33 oz of gold each. Probably $4000 each now.
