Picked up 17 50 cent silver pieces for $8.50 at lcs, flipped for $130 at flea market

Doesn't make sense. Seventeen pcs at $8.50 = $144.50 & you sold at $130. What am I missing?

nope not silver. 1965 to 1969 are 40%, pre 64 is 90%. still cool coins tho

This is what I found on the net.

Some Eisenhower dollars were minted in a 40% silver clad to be sold to collectors. All of these coins were minted at the San Francisco Mint, with dates 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, and 1776-1976.

Ya I realized the Eisenhowers aren't silver but I still only paid $6 for some cool looking coins

Local Thirft store, Bought a Sterling Figaro Necklace for $5. Sold it on the bay for $57. Will be buying switching fiat with silver on my bday next week!
