He wanted $60 for the proofs and I passed.

So it ended up in total that I got a roll of ASE's including 2 1986 for $600 + the 1 1988 ASE for $33 shipped..

    My best score to date.
    wow, great deal, congrats

We had a yard sale saturday. I sold off all my baseball cards from the 80-90s for $110... Which I was really surprised! On the way home stopped at another yard sale. This guy was telling everyone, Ask for whatever you are looking for. So I asked if he had any old coins. He Pulled out a book of Mercury dimes, Not complete there were 17 including a 1921. He wanted $30 for them! Plus bought 3 Ases for $70 for quarters for 12.

I am 45 minutes north of Rutland, but I usually do most of my buying in Burlington. Was it a private seller? Or an LCS? Its nice to see you up here working the local haunts.

Can I say, I love my LCS?

Picked up another $8 face of 90% (mixed Franklins and Kennedy halves with a few mirror like proofs mixed in, and a bunch of mercury dimes) as well as 3 very nice Morgans and 4 decent Peace Dollars over lunch for $377 out the door. Got the Dollar coins for $27/ea. Face was $23.60/per... Worked out to $0.24 under spot (at 32.95 spot price) for the $8 face! Now since spots gone back up, I got an even better deal on it.. $0.42 under spot for the $8 face.

Managed to time perfectly with today's 2hr long drop to 32.95, as the LCS I've been using looks up spot price at time of sale. I'll be buying a lot more from this LCS, as they are consistently a smoking deal.

I'm waiting for them to get in some more Morgans.. as if you buy at least 10 of them, the price drops 0.50 each to 26.50 each (currently).

Got a 11.1 gram Sterling bracelet for $2.50 at the Salvation Army today. I've just started half way looking for silver & gold jewelry. This is about the 10th piece I've found, and all of them have been pretty good deals I think. A bit tedious to look for, but kinda fun, too.
Ain't nuthin gonna stop me now but my innate inabilitree to progress cognatious thunk.
