    1) Check post time. When I wrote the price was still steady and started dropping 15 or so minutes later.
    2) I didn't write JUST for today but as an outlook for the next few days.

    Question

HomerJ, any price prediction for palladium and platinum?
You never look back, you keep going foreword.

Honestly think we are going to $26 in short order if it breaks $30 again. No matter what the economic news, there is always some excuse for gold and silver to go down. Kitco's stories are always "Bearish outside forces" with good economic news and a stronger dollar or "Risk off day" for the opposite. No matter the news, there is more selling than buying. Buyers might chase a quick dip to try to catch a rebound but there's no sign of a true reversal of the current downtrend yet.

I think that they will sway and follow gold's moves.

Me too. As I recall, you usually have a good idea of when these drops are coming.

Looking back into my memory, HomerJ has pretty much always been spot on; and I agree with him anyway

Will the French elections pull silver down further if Hollande is elected?

I can potentially see people flee the Euro to the dollar, which in turn would raise the dollar, thus further supressing gold and silver. Wrong or right (plz correct me), what does everyone think about the French election this Sunday in regards to Silver price?

Will a further drop occur Monday - the day after a Hollande (socialist) election victory?

I can't comment on political associations with markets and commodities because I have zero knowledge; hate politics!
What I can say is the sooner and sharper gold/silver drop, the better for a rebound.

I still think that Au & Ag have good upside, 1800$ and 40$ would not be out of play. Patience though...
