    While the transition will be slow, in my opinion companies like Tesla are the catalyst we need. They've finally made driving an EV "cool" and inspired the other OEMs to follow suit....

    Sure -- it's the thought, not the reality, at least not currently. Part of the equation for EVs is also using the grid when demand is low, such as charging batteries inside your homes during the day...
