To the mining community on Kitco:

I would like to take a survey on which paid services that you consider a "must have" to do a decent job in evaluating miners, explorers, developers, etc. Appreciate any feedback! If you know of any free resources that you don't mind sharing, I will be much obliged!

Thanks!

I second that request!

I asked about The Morgan Report in a different thread, but have not yet had any feedack from an actual paid subscriber.

I know there are probably some subcription services that are valuable, but my gut tells me that you can get better info on this forum than you can get in many of the paid services.

So let's hear about the GOOD ones! :)

Here's a good free one: http://www.goldgeologist.com/
He doesn't seem to have specific buy and sell advice other than sell half when it doubles. He covers some very interesting exploration plays and has some good info.

With SO MANY free sites -- it is a hard choice on what to pay for.

Some like Brent Cook - https://www.explorationinsights.com/ ) are huge costs- one has to wonder what the 'magic' price is for their remuneration and marketing efforts.

Others like Chris Martenson - http://www.chrismartenson.com/product/chrismartensoncom-enrollment ( less PM specific - but what a great free series on what I never learned in biz school many years ago ) I am thinking on adding their paid side.

I pay for 24Hgold ( http://www.24hgold.com/english/home.aspx ) and like the way they layout the data - but have written them on a couple of missing stocks - but never heard back ... not the best of signs.

Guess we are really spoiled by sites like www.goldminerpulse.com and the intelligent conversation on this MB ( and http://harveyorgan.blogspot.com/ and Ed Spear ... http://www.caseyresearch.com/gsd/ and I love the daily free report ( requires registration ) for David Rosenberg at ... http://www.gluskinsheff.com/ or he is repeated in www.zerohedge.com ... once you add google alerts for other names -- and wow - does your e-mail fill up fast.

But - love to hear of that ONE additional site worth the admission ... Please share.
