This is an excellent entry point for a physical ETF that actually holds the metal. Look at the historical premiums.

Thanks for the heads up on that. I'd been wanting to add more, and this seems like a good opportunity. Too bad premiums on Sprott's PSLV ETF are still so high.

personally i find the current premium for pslv is acceptable. If i take my money to buy ASE or maples, i would have to pay 10-15% over spot anyway . Ok, 5-8% premium on large silver bars. I also have to take in consideration of buying insurance and the headache storing. Some even purchased firearm for protection. Guns and ammos cost money too. If u factor in all these costs, 10-15% premium for a having some physical within a good ETF isn't all bad.

Here are a few more links for physical ... all out of Canada ... hey you need to be in Canada anyways... :-)

How about a NEGATIVE % ( as of today ) .... http://www.claymoreinvestments.ca/en/cef/fund/svr.un

Central Fund of Canada ( 50% Au 50% Ag - since 1961 ) - mentioned in Harvey Organs nightly blog ...
http://www.centralfund.com/Nav%20Form.htm

and CEF's smaller sister - the 100% Silver Fund ...
http://silverbulliontrust.com/net_asset_value.htm

and CEF's other sister - the 100% gold fund ( presently at 00.3%(usa) and 00.4% (Cdn)
http://www.gold-trust.com/asset_value.htm

Disclosure - I hold all listed here - but have wondered if the Claymore is more like SLV than SBT.UN - I know Central has the bars ... still a touch unsure on Claymore

You sure see swings in value to NAV spreads

Greg

ps - one more for good order --want a BIG Neg % ... Cdn Small Caps with a % in Jr Miners ..... http://www.acuityfunds.com/fund_trust_small_cap_corp.html
