Hi, has anyone heard of NAI and do they know anything about it?

They are based in Canada and traded on that stock exchange (CVE:NAI). Here is the link to their webpage:

You can check out their quarterly and annual reports under the financial tab.

They only do exploration and mapping with the hope of selling their property interests and findings to larger mining companies. Their main source of funding is by issuing new stock each year. Looking at the numbers, they seem to run a tight ship, but the business they're in is very competitive.

They were mapping two gold areas in Canada. They abandoned one and are forging ahead with the other. The Company‘s most advanced property is the Viking Gold Project located in the mining friendly jurisdiction of Newfoundland and Labrador. Viking has very good gold/soil tonnage numbers and the company expects to finish their evaluation between August and December 2010.

Note: There is an "NAI" on the NYSE called Nicholas-Applegate Intl. Not to be confused with the mining company.
