Just look at the chart, looks very top'ish. Put in a parabolic run up and retraced. After it retraced it failed to break the high and has fallen into a pendant trading range the same as the metals did back in 2011.

I went Long the Euro last week and plan to hold it for at least a couple of months. If it breaks the top then I am out and move on to the next trade.

An American buddy of mine trades the FXE when he wants to trade the Euro. I just checked it out and the liquidity looks decent.

Here is the link. (http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=FXE)

Long euro, buy ule. This is 2x leveraged.

Short us$, buy udnt. This is 3x leveraged. Tips, spread is wide on this one, be careful.

I guarantee you lose money if you buy either one of the above for mid and long terms. US$ rally will last couple of years more from here but feel free to ignore my words.

There're more currency etfs that I don't trade, do your homework.

Why is gas still $3 a gallon?

One Reason...

STATE + FEDERAL TAXES!!!

When I cross the border from one state to another price drops from ~$3.00 to ~2.60 or vice-versa

A weak dollar makes gas more expensive,...where is the cheaper gas that a strong dollar should make?

When oil is down, gas very slowly inches downward....when oil is up, gas goes higher fast and furious.

Speaking of fast and furious, why isnt eric holder in jail again?

when crude was falling, retail gasprices were high and they weren't making much money.
There must have been a tacit ( or not tacid ) understanding that a pumpprice competition would be a lethal idea.

High pump prices and low crude prices fills their pockets, competition doesn't.

USD going significantly higher to around 106.50 IMO. The EUR/USD will fall to 0.95. I believe the Fed will raise interest rates in December or early next year. The US is tightening and raising rates while the EU is loosening with negative rates and QE. The probable outcome of that in terms of the EUR/USD is not very hard to see. Not to mention the EU is being flooded with useless third world immigrants who are all either freeloaders and/or terrorists. I think that is going to carry heavy economic ramifications for Europe. Not too hard either to imagine what happens when you let your country be flooded by a bunch of self-entitled savages who think they should receive free money and housing from the government.

Ethanol free gas in my AO, is down to $2 bucks a gallon. My chain saws and old trucks really appreciate it.
